'Feather Dance' 
 
I went for a walk the other week and saw a handful of beautiful white feathers dancing in the breeze. It was mesmerising! Feathers mean different things to all of us I guess, so I thought that I'd try to replicate what I saw that day in a Lovespoon. What is a Lovespoon but a piece of art representing something personal and meaningful?
 
Hand carved from one piece of Beech, I wanted to capture the graceful fragility of feathers dancing upon the breeze; therefore this was an incredibly delicate piece to handle and manoeuvre during the detailing phase.
